New beginnings: Salt Beer Factory will open its doors to the public this week
A “three years in the making” brewery is set to open tomorrow (Friday 2 November) aiming to showcase “the best craft in beers and gins,” in a modern pub environment.

Salt Beer Factory, a £1.7m investment by the award-winning Ossett Brewery, will open its doors to the public in the village of Saltaire, Bradford, on Friday, 2 November.

The “microbrewery with a difference, unifying heritage and modern brewing,” says it will provide punters “shop-stopping” craft beers – with an exciting line-up of brewing collaborations planned for the new year.

They will be brewing a wide range of beer in keg, can and cask formats – including IPAs, NEIPAs, stouts and lagers.

The taproom sits in the heart of the brewery, where beer drinkers can enjoy handcrafted Salt Beers with the backdrop and theatre of the brewhouse around them.

Jamie Lawson, owner of Ossett Brewery, said he can’t wait to see the three-year project come to life.

“The vision for Salt has been three years in the making; a concept that began with an idea to brew some beer at the back of the hop in Saltaire has now evolved into something much greater than we could’ve ever imagined,” he added.
