Butcombe Brewery launched its first kegged beer on 14 November in partnership with Countryfile’s Adam Henson.

As part of its collaboration with TV presenter and joint director of Cotswold Farm Park Adam Henson, Liberation Group’s Butcombe Brewery has launched award-winning beer Rare Breed Pale Ale in keg for the first time.

The beer, brewed as part of a longstanding partnership between Butcombe and Henson, was created in 2011 to celebrate sustainable agriculture and was available across Liberation Group’s estate.

Rare Breed was previously available to customers at Liberation Group venues in cask and in national supermarkets in bottles, however, the brewery has transferred it to keg to meet changing tastes and increasing demand among modern drinkers for kegged beers.

‘Exceptional provenance’

Adam Henson said: “I am delighted to announce the arrival of Rare Breed Pale Ale in keg.

“Butcombe Brewery embodies the best of West Country brewing, producing beers with real character and exceptional provenance.

“It is these values that make the business such an attractive partner to collaborate with and I can’t wait to see even more pubs across the region serving Rare Breed at the bar.”

Butcombe Brewery’s sales director John Breading added: “Our collaboration with Countryfile’s Adam Henson began through shared values and a commitment to artisanal produce.

“We are delighted to take our partnership with him to the next level through the launch of our award-winning Rare Breed Pale Ale.

“This new kegged version of the beer will ensure that more customers across the country can enjoy its distinctive, citrus taste.

“We look forward to working with Adam for many years to come.”
