Alcohol-free spirit brand Stryyk has added a third variant to its portfolio, which now consists of Not Rum, Not Gin and new addition Not Vodka.

The new product is available now and has been developed to deliver on the same flavours as its alcoholic counterpart.

Not Vodka is a clear liquid that has been distilled and bottled in the UK, and features cucumber and menthol notes, with a sweet wheat undertone and hints of coriander.

Spicy and peppery

On the palate, according to the producer, it is spicy and peppery with a warm finish and has no added sugar, fat, carbohydrates or artificial flavours.

Alex Carlton, CEO of parent brand Elegantly Spirited, said recent figures showed one in three of those aged between 16 and 24 never drink alcohol.

“Those who do drink less, so, with so many consumers now choosing to stay sober, it is important for pubs and bars to review their non-alcoholic,” he said.

“We are committed to offering the best tasting zero-proof spirits to enable the trade to deliver flavour-driven, credible and stylish no and low alcohol serves for the growing number of consumers looking to limit their alcohol consumption.”

The new variant is available for the festive period, specifically for designated drivers and non-drinkers who still want to drink something special.

Limit alcohol intake

“It is also perfectly timed for the new year when many consumers overhaul their lifestyles and limit their alcohol intake,” added Carlton.

The new products follow the launch of Diageo-backed Seedlip several years ago and Pernod Ricard UK’s recent entry into the alcohol-free spirits market with Ceder’s this month.

Carlton continued: “With the new generation of party-goers choosing to drink less alcohol and sometimes none at all, Stryyk offers a zero-proof spirit that enables them to enjoy the drinks they love and stay in the moment, without compromising on taste, experience or calories.”
