Alan Carr to host the 2019 Publican Awards

Carr, who won the 2015 National Television Award for Chat Show Host and a 2013 BAFTA for Best Entertainment Performance, will be leading the 2019 edition of the Publican Awards, which take place at Battersea Evolution in London on 12 March.

Best known for hosting 16 series of Alan Carr: Chatty Man​ over the course of almost a decade, as well as Alan Carr’s Happy Hour​ and Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong​, it was recently reported that Carr has also been snapped up for 2019’s season of Strictly Come Dancing​.

Ed Bedington, editor of The Morning Advertiser​, which organises the awards, said: “We’re very excited to welcome a star of Alan Carr’s calibre to host what should be a lively evening at this year’s Publican Awards.
