Admiral Taverns' tenants are being offered tapered rent support from reopening all the way through to April next year, the company has announced.

Speaking to The Morning Advertiser’s Ed Bedington, Admiral CEO Chris Jowsey said operators would only pay 50% of their rent for the first months of opening, July and August, with that stepping up to 60% for September and October and then a gradual increase, but it would only rise back to 100% in April 2021.

He said it was important for his company to take a long-term approach to supporting their pubs back into business and that they’d put together a comprehensive guide to help operators get back to trading.
