Pubs recognised: here's what pubs had to say about the Great British Pub Awards 2020 on social media

Pubs shared their delight at being recognised by The Morning Advertiser’s Great British Pub Awards Pub Heroes on social media last night.

While publicans nominated for the Great British Pub Awards would usually enjoy celebrating together at a ceremony, the awards were screened into pubs across the country and streamed on social media.

Awards honoured publicans' work in feeding their communities, helping staff cope with furlough and ensuring continuity for their businesses.

Thousands of people tuned in to watch the show on Facebook, Youtube or at their local.
