The award for Best Accommodation Operator, sponsored by Asahi, will be presented to a pub company which has focussed on offering accommodation as a key part of the business.

Stay Original Company

Named among the 75 best companies to work for in the south west of England in 2020, the Stay Original Company owns and operates a portfolio of boutique hotels and inns across what is historically one of the UK's foremost tourism hotspots.

After acquiring and renovating its first site in Wedmore, Somerset, in 2011, the Stay Original Company has since added sites in Somerton, Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, Shaftesbury and Dorchester – both Dorset.

A finalist in the Best Accommodation Operator category at last year's gongs, Stay Original prides itself on offering unique accommodation within unique buildings while championing hyper-local produce in each of its venues.

Stay Original is also in the running for this year's Best Pub Employer and Best Premium Food Offer prizes, as well as the Best New Site category for the Kings Arms in Dorchester.

The Inn Collection Group

Based in the north east, the Inn Collection Group's seemingly ever-growing portfolio currently comprises 19 sites in coastal, country, town, and city locations across County Durham, the Lake District, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and Yorkshire.

Far from a stranger to the Publican Awards, the Inn Collection Group has won the Best Pub Employer (up to 500 people) prize for two years on the spin and prides itself on creating sites to eat, drink, sleep, and explore from.

The Inn Collection Group has also been shortlisted in the Best Managed Pub Company and Best Pub Employer categories this year.

OHH Pub Company

Also a finalist in the Best Community Pub Operator category at this year's Publican Awards, the OHH Pub Company is a family run business that has grown from one small pub to a number of successful inns across the south west since it was founded in the 1980s.

The operator of four sites strives to offer its guests quality food and drink, quality accommodation and a quality experience against unique and atmospheric rural backdrops.

HQ Collection

With an estate comprising the Copper Horse Restaurant & Cottages, the Mayfield, the Plough and the Yew Tree Cafe & Bistro, all situated just outside Scarborough, HQ Collection is part of Yorkshire-based Qdos Entertainment, owned by husband and wife entrepreneurs, Nick and Sandra Thomas.

Offering eclectic venues to drink, dine and stay in, each of HQ Collection's sites offers an individually styled menu alongside unique accommodation options ranging from self-catered cottages to luxurious pubs with rooms.
