An online development programme has been launched for managers in the hospitality sector.

Growth mindset coach and strategy facilitator Jackie Moody-McNamara has today (13 May) launched a six month programme to unlock individual’s management potential.

The Turn the Key course is designed to develop and support people managers and heads of department.

It will look at how to build management strengths, self-awareness and self-confidence.

Challenging time

Founder and managing director at Turn the Key, Jackie Moody-McNamara, explained how the course had been designed to help managers support staff as they look to rebuild trade and confidence in the sector this year.

She said: “The last 18 months have been an incredibly challenging time for us all, especially for the hospitality sector.

“As we celebrate the reopening of the industry, I have designed this coaching led programme which will be transformational in helping managers support their teams to overcome the challenges of opening the sector up over the next six months.”

Programme participants will receive a management DISC personality profiling assessment to help them understand their preferred management style.

Tailored support

Moody-McNamara said she had taken into account what she felt was missing from her own development as a manager, as well as previous programmes she has been part of.

She explained: “As my career progressed, I was quite insular to my own business and never had the chance to work with others who had differing experiences and thinking.

“So, I’ve combined what was missing from my development as a manager and learnings from previous programmes I’ve facilitated to provide a unique, tailored support programme.

She is also developing other programmes, such as the year-long BRILLIANT Women Accelerated Leadership programme, which will launch in October 2021.
