Building on the success of the Top 50 Gastropubs and Cocktail Bars brands, The Morning Advertiser is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new list, focusing on the luxury hotel sector.

The Top 50 Boutique Hotels, sponsored by Taylors of Harrogate, is set to be revealed this November, following extensive voting from experts across the sector, from operators to travel writers, industry experts to influencers.

With demand for staycation breaks and first-rate experiences on the rise, this new list will provide the UK with definitive breakdown of where to eat, drink and sleep.

Ed Bedington, editor of The Morning Advertiser which runs the list, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be revealing this list and adding to our Top 50 portfolio. We’ve established the lists as the places to watch for excellence, and we look forward to shining a spotlight on the best in the boutique hotel sector now.

“Demand for high-end, great experiences is something we’re seeing across all of hospitality, and accommodation is no exception. Now with the Top 50 Boutique Hotels adding to the group, you can find the best places to eat, drink and sleep across the country.”

Throughout 2021, the Top 50 team have been collecting votes from up and down the UK to curate the first of many lists. Each voter was able to put forward 4 hotels they believe have the best service, design, and experience – this really is the industry’s choice.

From Fife to Penzance, the Boutique Hotels list will provide travellers with exceptional stays throughout the UK.

Bedington added: “Below we list the hotels that have made the list, but in alphabetical order, we’ll be announcing where exactly they feature on the list at a fantastic ceremony in York on the 25th of November, so keep your eyes peeled for the results.”

The Top 50 Boutique Hotels list will be announced in numerical order alongside the specialist category awards at The Star Inn the City in York on Thursday 25 November with a special meal prepared by Top 50 Gastropub chef Andrew Pern. This event not only recognises the achievements of the travel sector but allow opportunities to build new connections for collaborations, much like our Gastropub and Cocktail bar communities have.

The full list will be available on a brand new Boutique Hotels website after the event where users can find their nearest hotel and search for other Top 50 establishments nearby to eat and drink at.
