Don’t miss your chance to feature in the first ever Green Pub Guide
Supported by The Morning Advertiser and national media promotion, the Green Pub Guide 2022 will help both locals and visitors discover the greenest pubs in town and really show how the industry is step changing in sustainability.
There's still time to get your entry in for the guide, with the deadline for submissions extended to 23:59 on 11 April.
For your chance to feature in the guide, simply tell us what you’re doing to reduce your business’ environmental impact. Measures could range from seasonal or zero-waste menus, selecting local suppliers, removing single use plastic, reducing water and CO2 wastage with tools such as SmartDispense™, to installing solar panels or electric vehicle charging points.
Whether you’re a large or small business – and no matter the size and scale of the initiative - we’d love to know what you’re doing.
Chelsey Wroe, Head of Sustainability at HEINEKEN UK said: “In creating this guide, we want to celebrate pubs that are doing great things, as well as inspiring and empowering other operators with their own sustainability initiatives. Whatever you’re doing to drive and promote sustainability, we’d like to hear from you. So, get in touch, and hopefully you can be part of helping to drive a green revolution throughout the hospitality sector.”
Ed Bedington, editor of The Morning Advertiser said: “More and more consumers are seeking out businesses that are aligned with a green and sustainable agenda, and pubs are no different. The Green Pub Guide will provide those consumers seeking the greenest operators with the sites to visit, and therefore send more customers to your doors.”
