We are gearing up to release the Beer Report 2024, where you’ll find out all you need to know about the category.

Included in the free-to-download report, which is sponsored by Asahi, will be the latest facts and stats from a plethora of experts on what’s going on across the whole of the beer market and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.

We’ll be covering world, premium and core lagers, cask ales, stout, craft beers as well as low and no offerings.

Trends is something the publication looks at in great detail, identifying what operators should look out for in terms of specific brands and styles alongside where innovation is taking place.

Buzz word

Premiumisation has been a buzz word in recent years and it seems it is here to stay. Award-winning educator, writer, broadcaster and beer sommelier Annabel Smith looks at this and more in her analysis of the beer sector.

Meanwhile, we’ve also looked at beer prices and the average cost of a pint in a variety of regions across Great Britain as part of exclusive and interactive content.

Elsewhere, we spoke with a number of operators of both pubs and breweries to get their take on the beer category alongside delving into the challenges and opportunities the sector offers.

Furthermore, the report breaks down the beer category into various segments, looking at the share of each in both value and volume terms.

Vital tool

Associate features editor Gary Lloyd said: “The Beer Report 2024 is a vital tool for any licensee whether they are operating a city centre behemoth or an essential village pub.

“There's so much in the report from what the average prices of pints are across Britain to expert analysis explaining why world lagers and stouts are faring so well currently.

“You won't want to miss it and, what's more, it's absolutely free to download and contains not only top-tier advice and insight but video interviews and audio too.”

That’s all we can reveal for now but keep your eyes peeled as we’ll be launching the Beer Report 2024 later this week.
