Leading figures from hospitality will work hard and play harder at Competitive Socialising – The Power of Play in London later this month.

Around 1,000 guests from across the industry will attend the event at The Lighthouse in London’s Camberwell on Wednesday 21 May.

Now in its fifth year, the event, run by Inntegra and Home Leisure Direct, will welcome almost three times as many guests as year one.

Keynote speakers this year include F1 Arcade co-founder Ollie Raison, Phantom Peak co-founder Nick Moran and Inclusivation chief executive officer and founder Dorothea Jones.

Celebration and fun

Further industry insights will be provided by KAM at the event, which will be hosted by chairman of industry trade body Gamechangers, Graham Cook.

Gamechangers and Inntegra founder Jade Craig said: “We are looking forward to another day packed full of insights, networking, celebration and fun.

“As the competitive socialising sector has continued to grow, so too has our event and we can’t wait to welcome guests through the doors.”

Stars of the sector will also be celebrated in the Competitive Socialising Awards, highlighting the continued innovation, hard work and quality customer service provided by the sector.

Rapid growth

Home Leisure Direct sales director Roger Bunce, added: “It’s been amazing to see not only the rapid growth of pioneering brands, but also the following waves of venues embracing games and repurposing space as more and more people look for an experience to build their nights out around.

“As always, we’ll be displaying our top products at the show. This year we’ll be premiering Neo Shuffle, the only interactive shuffleboard available on the market that pairs the best tech with an established shuffleboard brand, Hudson Shuffleboards.”

Earlier this year, voices from across the sector took to the stage at The Pub Show at London’s Excel to discuss cost-effective ways competitive socialising can boost trade for operators.

In addition, competitive socialising was found to be a key trend for attracting customers in 2025 by OakNorth Bank.

According to the bank’s most recent Sector Pulse report, competitive socialising has seen rapid growth in recent years, with the UK experiencing a 38% rise in these types of venues since 2018.
