The Pub People Company, backed by Downing, operates nearly 50 predominantly freehold pubs under a managed partnership model and announced the appointment this week.
An experience pub sector operator, Centracchio has held senior positions across a number of significant hospitality operations, including JD Wetherspoons, where she was interim finance director for over six years, Peach Pubs, where she was finance director for over two years, and she also spent four years as CFO for Boston Tea Party Cafes.
Continued growth
Writing on LinkedIn, she said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Pub People at such a dynamic and exciting time for the business. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the team, partners, and communities we serve.”
The appointment comes at a time when Pub People, which is headed up by MD Andy Crawford, is undertaking several major capex schemes including the Rutland Cottage Ilkeston and Marr Lodge Worksop.
Exciting period

The Pub People Company was founded in 1993, with pubs across Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Sheffield and Lincoln.
