He will replace former managing director Mark Brooke, who had held the role since June 2020. In May this year, Brooke was announced as the new CEO of Amber Taverns.
Wall brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously worked as operations director of Stonegate’s managed investments business for three years and London divisional director at Ei Group for more than four years.
In addition, Wall previously held the title of managing director UK & Ireland Air at SSP for nearly five years and operations director at JD Wetherspoons (JDW) for 11 years.
Huge potential
Since October 2021, Wall has been chief operating officer of Tiny Cloud Kitchens.
Admiral operates some 220 sites in its 1,400-strong estate within Proper Pubs, its community wet-led operator division.
The company said it is looking to explore opportunities to grow that side of the business further.

In a post shared to LinkedIn last week, Wall said: “Excited to share that I’ve officially started as managing director of Proper Pubs at Admiral Taverns.
“It’s a privilege to be joining a business with such a strong community focus, great people, and huge potential.
Next chapter
“I’m looking forward to getting out across the estate, listening to our teams and partners, and helping shape the next chapter of growth. Here’s to the journey ahead!”
Last month, the Chester-based pubco launched its ‘Proper Pubs Awards Gala’, recognising the accomplishments of operators across its estate.
Proper Pubs will present nine awards along with one additional ‘Pub of the Year’ accolade.
The division, which was the winner of the Publican Awards Community Pub Operator in 2024, will host the event in Chesterfield on Thursday 31 July.
Each of the finalists have been nominated by their Business Development Manager for going the extra mile in supporting the communities they serve.
