Pubs can expect to grab a slice of £32m during this week’s semi-finals of the Women’s Euros, according to a report from VoucherCodes.co.uk.

The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 semi-finals will see England’s Lionesses play Italy in Geneva on Tuesday while Germany faces Spain on Wednesday in Zurich.

The Women’s Euro 2025 Spending Report from VoucherCodes.co.uk, has forecasted that £20.1m alone will be spent during England’s Lionesses match against Italy with 1.2m people heading through hospitality venue doors.

Over the course of the England match, it is predicted that celebrating sports fans will spend £10.4m on drinks, and a further £9.8m spent on food by football fans.

3.4m people

Looking at the semi-finals tournament stage more widely, 3.4m people are predicted to watch a match from a hospitality venue.

With both games taking place midweek at 8pm, food sales (£16.1m) will exceed drink sales (£15.9m) - breaking the pattern of all other Women’s Euros games so far.

Boost sales

Over the course of the tournament Vouchercodes.co.uk has revealed that a popular hospitality destination for football fans is set to be the pub, with 73% of all Women’s Euros watchers planning to take in at least one game from their local boozer - that’s 3.7m people.

Bars will also be a destination of choice for fans with 60% or 3m people watching at least one game from there.
