The line-up includes Christmas ale Rocking Rudolph, which the Suffolk-based pub operator and brewer described as having a “full-bodied flavour and rich malty notes”.
Brewed with the same recipe, the 4.2% ABV ale is making its annual comeback with a refreshed festive badge, featuring Rudolph’s signature lights to draw attention to the pump handles this November and December.
Charity partnership
As part of Greene King’s ongoing partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, 5p (plus VAT) from every pint of Rocking Rudolph sold will be donated to the charity, helping the organisation continue to provide vital care and support for people living with cancer.
Customers stocking Rocking Rudolph will also receive bespoke festive PoS to drive awareness of the beer and support venues with decorations to drive the occasion.
There are also further opportunities for customers to access Rocking Rudolph glassware, jumpers and other merchandise.
Joining Rocking Rudolph is Fireside, the 4.5% ABV premium ale that returns for November and December, which boasts grapefruit and lemon citrus flavours balanced by black malt.
Celebration
Rounding off the cask calendar this year is Abbot Reserve, a robust 6.5% ABV ale with rich fruitcake notes making its return from December into January.

All three beers are available in both firkin and pin formats and form part of the Greene King Fresh Cask Releases calendar, which features 15 limited-edition beers available throughout the year.
Greene King brand manager Amina Ali said: “Our winter cask range is all about bringing celebration, rich flavours and a sense of occasion to venues. Rocking Rudolph is a firm festive favourite, and this year’s refreshed badge adds even more theatre to the bar.
“With Fireside and Abbot Reserve also returning, we’re offering a trio of seasonal ales that cater to all those winter moments.”
