The uplift was driven by strong like-for-likes at Albert’s Schloss in Soho alongside its eight new openings for Rudy’s Pizza Napoletana.
Mission Mars said the increase in revenue represented a 13% rise on the same trading period in 2024. Its Rudy’s pizza business achieved a 24% increase in revenue overall, with like-for-like sales across a 26-strong existing estate achieving 6% growth.
Important period
Like-for-like group sales during the five weeks to 4 January 2026 were up 6% versus the previous year. While Mission Mars’ four Albert’s Schloss venues achieved a like-for-like increase of 8%, to £7.7m, for the same five-week period.
Mission Mars’ chief executive Roy Ellis said: “Q1 is always our most important trading period and sets the tone and expectation for the year ahead.
“I’m delighted that both brands delivered further growth on strong results in the previous year and traded ahead of their competitive sets according to the CGA RSM Hospitality Business Tracker.”
Ellis said he was “particularly pleased” with the strong like-for-like growth achieved at its oldest Albert’s Schloss, Manchester, and our newest Albert’s Schloss in Soho, London.
Record revenues
“Our teams not only delivered record revenues but also record levels of NPS and our internal Guest Experience (GXP) rating. We work hard to encourage great service, so these results are particularly pleasing,” he added.
“Both Albert’s Schloss and Rudy’s turned 10 years old in 2025, and it was great to see the mature venues contributing positively to like-for-like growth.
“Whilst the current trading environment remains extremely challenging, we are confident we are well positioned to navigate a successful future.
“We have two of the strongest hospitality brands in the UK and a highly engaged, professional team. We will continue to focus on building a world-class hospitality business in 2026 and beyond.”
