With Valentines Day in the rear view, the Lock In team tackle the topic of love, and ask whether pubs still play a role in the world of romance or not?

Once upon a time, the pub was the catalyst for many a relationship, but with wider options, and in the modern digital world, does the analogue pub still play a part in Cupid’s plans?

The Lock In team swiped right on a number of experts to help with this one, including dating expert Minnie Lane, and the dating guru himself James Preece to ask if they still rate the pub for romance for their clients.

We speak to Fuller’s Sian Timmermans and Allie Twist from the Old Nun’s Head about how they activate around Valentine’s Day, and we chat weddings with the Gaggle of Geeses’ Simon Colquhoun and Emma Harrison of the Three Hills.

And we get down and dirty chatting “sexy cocktails” with cocktail guru Pritesh Mody who shares some thoughts on creating the perfect mix.

So, is love still in the air in your pub, or do you just need to get a new cleaner?

Tune in now, and share your thoughts on the pubs role in romance.
