Claires Court School in Maidenhead joins the LTC Education Group (LTCEG), which comprises four independent schools – LVS Ascot in Berkshire, LVS Hassocks in Sussex and LVS Oxford alongside the Kennington School, set to open in September this year after it was acquired in 2025.
This latest addition builds on the LTC’s education model, through which income generated by its schools is reinvested into the charity.
Claires Court will keep its name, identity, ethos and day-to-day operation including teaching, learning pastoral care, safeguarding arrangements and curriculum to help ensure continuity for pupils and families.
Positive and deliberate step
It is a well-established, values-driven independent school and the decision to join the LTCEG reflects shared values, a commitment to long-term stewardship and a belief in education that places people and wellbeing at its heart.
This growth supports the LTC’s core purpose and as part of the LTCEG’s charitable commitment, this division offers free discounts and bursary support at its mainstream, schools for families working in licensed hospitality.
LTC CEO Chris Welham said: “This is a positive and deliberate step that strengthens the charity’s foundations and our ability to support more people working in licensed hospitality.”
Strong commitment
He added: “Our education model is a powerful enabler of our charitable work, providing sustainable income that allows us to reinvest directly into the services people rely on.
“Claires Court shares our values and our belief in education that changes lives and we are proud to welcome it into the LTCEG.”
Looking to the future, the addition of Claires Court reflects the LTC’s commitment to responsible growth, strong governance and education.
As it continues to evolve, the charity aims to keep its focus clear – to support people to live well, work well and thrive while ensuring help is there when it is needed most.
