Rekorderlig Pineapple & Kiwi flavour cider has been released ahead of the key summer trading period to help attract new drinkers to the cider category and meet growing demand for new flavours.
Available in 500ml bottles and 500ml cans, MCBC described the 3.4% serve as juicy and tropical, made by blending crisp pear cider with pure Swedish spring water alongside pineapple and a hint of kiwi.
New consumers
The launch aims to tap into the growing demand for tropical flavours, which the brewer said has become the fastest-growing flavour in the premium fruit cider segment.
With 50% of sales from Rekorderlig’s previous new flavour launches coming from new consumers, Rekorderlig Pineapple & Kiwi is also set to help attract new consumers to the cider category.
The release of Rekorderlig Pineapple & Kiwi will be supported by a range of marketing activity, including out-of-home advertising, sampling, social activity and in-store media.
Commenting on the new variant, Molson Coors marketing controller for cider & beverages Sophie Mitchell said: “Pineapple & Kiwi addresses a clear gap in the market, consumers want tropical flavours but can’t find them at the bar.

“This gives venues a real opportunity to tap into unmet demand ahead of the crucial summer period.”
The latest innovation joins Rekorderlig’s growing flavour portfolio, which includes Strawberry & Lime, Wild Berries, Blackberry & Blackcurrant, Mango & Raspberry, Peach & Raspberry, and Passionfruit, as well as an alcohol-free Strawberry & Lime variant.
Last year, the brand announced the launch of its Wild Berries variant in draught format for the on-trade, following its continued success in bottles.
In addition, its full strength Strawberry & Lime flavour was the tenth best-selling cider in the on-trade in 2024 and 2025, according to CGA data, as detailed in The Morning Advertiser’s Drinks List.
Rekorderlig Pineapple & Kiwi is available now in 500ml bottles for pubs.
