Ardent Pub Group
The London-based pubco was fully acquired in a private investment round led by founder and managing director Dominic Jacobs. Previously operating as JKS Pubs, it has now rebranded as Ardent Pub Group following its sale to a US‑based private investor.
The business operates three pubs in London, the Cadogan Arms in Chelsea, the George in Fitzrovia and the Hound in Chiswick.
Its drinks programme is built around a commitment to quality, sustainability, and local relevance, ensuring each pub offers a distinctive experience tailored to its neighbourhood.
At the core of its approach are site‑specific signature serves that reflect the character and heritage of each pub. For example, the George has become known for its iconic Irish coffee.
The group refreshes its cocktail list three to four times a year, allowing the team to introduce innovative twists on classic serves.
The company has recently been certified as a B Corporation, making it one of a small number of pub and hospitality operators to achieve this accreditation.

Meanwhile, the Fitzherbert Arms champions Port wine, the Roebuck Inn focuses on old world wines and the Mainwaring Arms champions Rum.
The company also supports local producers by showcasing cask ales sourced from within a 35‑mile radius of its pubs. It has also focused on a no and low strategy that has seen a strong increase in sales for the company.
