Incipio Group
With an aim of curating beautiful spaces with vibrant atmospheres for great times, London-based business Incipio Group, offers high-energy socialising, immersive design and a sense of occasion.
The business started in 2015, evolving into the design-led, experience-first organisation we see today.
Venues are built to feel vibrant and theatrical, blending food and drink, music and atmosphere in spaces that feel dynamic and contemporary where bold interiors and carefully curated soundtracks set the tone, enticing guests in throughout a variety of different dayparts.
Guest experience is carefully engineered to maximise dwell time, spend and social sharing while operational systems help ensure consistency at scale.
The business is stepping into its next chapter with its flagship opening at London’s Olympia this year – a multi-concept operation, covering 40,000sq ft, which aims to double the company’s turnover and was described by the group as its “most ambitious and diverse project to date”.
Laine Pubs
Operating 55 sites across Brighton, London, Birmingham and Norwich, Laine aims to create inviting, indulging and inspiring pub experiences that ignite customers’ passion for life.
Established in the mid-1990s, the group operates a managed partnership model and has an ambition to create a “next generation” pub.
Live music, craft beer and events play a key role in the business, helping to create a sense of discovery and spontaneity across its estate.
Each site is tailored to its location, the team who run it and its customers, allowing venues to unlock value through individuality, inspired by the community it surrounds while benefiting from central support and operational expertise, resulting in a different experience to each guest.
Last year, the business shifted its focus away from brewing and revealed a renewed focus on creating diverse, unique and inclusive venues, using data to drive its strategy with Gen Z firmly in its sights.
NEOS Hospitality
Social, multi-purpose bars are at the heart of NEOS, with venues designed to deliver unique experiences that get people talking, dancing and crafting long-lasting memories.
In 2024, the UK arm of nightclub operator Rekom Group separated from its parent company and rebranded to NEOS Hospitality.
Three distinct brands now make up the estate – from après ski vibes alongside live entertainment such as quiz nights, music bingo and karaoke at Barbara’s Bier Haus to mixing tradition with a modern twist resulting in a place perfect for a daytime pint and live sports on big screens to a lively night out with live music at Bonnie Rogues as well as nightclub brand Circuit, where guests can expect new sounds, unique concepts and wicked experiences every week.
Earlier this year, the business doubled the size of its portfolio after acquiring 20 bars across the Revolution, Revolución de Cuba and Founders & Co brands, with the acquisition expanding NEOS’s estate to 40 venues across 22 cities.
Professionals at Play
Serious about socialising, Professionals At Play aims to deliver high-quality experiences across its estate.
Started in Leeds in 2013 by two brothers, Matt and Ben Jones, this business has evolved into the business it is today over the past 13 years and has grown to operate two divisions – Roxy Leisure and Pins Leisure, running the brands Roxy Ball Room, Roxy Lanes, King Pins and Star Pins.
The company rebranded to Professionals At Play in 2024 while last year saw a couple of landmark openings for the business – its first London venue with Roxy Ball Room St Mary Axe and its Scottish debut with King Pins Silverburn in Glasgow.
The model increases dwell time and spend by combining play, competition and hospitality within a single venue environment with experiences designed to be accessible, scalable and operationally efficient.
Spaces aim to be energetic and inclusive, encouraging conversation, collaboration and friendly rivalry.
