But while for some, that heritage can be as much a drawback as a bonus, Robinsons hasn’t been afraid to break with tradition and embrace modern methods to drive the business forward.
Recent events have seen the company move out of its long established brewery at the heart of Stockport and saw the business open a new state of the art multi-million pound brewery operation at its packaging facilities in Bredbury.
Continuous development
The impressive facility has been designed to perfection, designed to meet the modern needs of a 21st century brewing pub co operator, while leaving the company open to development as the industry adapts and changes.
This isn’t a business that is resting on its laurels and continues to develop and innovate its beer offer to ensure that its pub partners have the best possible options on the bar.
The new brewery and the willingness to invest in new technology to support cask beer throughout its estate is ensuring its pubs are able to put real ale front and centre of its offer. That strategy is paying off with cask sales significantly outperforming the market.
Passion praised
Innovation isn’t just confined to processes, Robinsons are investing into NPD and delivering new, modern beers that are appealing to young and old alike with a strong core range, supported by a diverse and interesting range of seasonal brews as well.
Judges praised the company’s passion and dedication and were impressed with the levels of support for pub partners, through strong investment into cellar support and dispense kit, backed up with a particularly strong technical support team.
Robinsons are not afraid to move away from tradition, at the same time as building on the impressive heritage the company has built across the North West of England and Wales.
