Ongoing investigations
It comes after Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue said a fire at a derelict pub in the county earlier this week was suspected to be arson.
Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze at the Rockingham Arms in Corby at around 8pm on Friday 24 April.
The inferno is believed to have started on the first floor of the building before spreading to the roof.
A spokesperson from Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service told The MA: “The incident has been handed over to Northamptonshire Police, who are maintaining a scene guard and the fire investigation remains ongoing as they wait for a structural engineer.”
