The news comes as the 140-year-old landmark prepares to reopen following a £1.3bn development, which will also see it launch the live entertainment venue British Airways ARC on 16 June and the Hyatt Regency London Olympia on 6 July. Also opening at Olympia is the largest new theatre in London in 50 years, event spaces, hotels and workspaces.
Incipio Group’s new concepts include Bar Arriba, a Mexican-inspired ‘hangout’ serving small bites and cocktails; Wolves of Tokyo, a Japanese restaurant and cocktail bar; Lillie’s, which will serve seasonal British small plates; and Arbour, a multi-concept food hall.
A fifth concept, Italian restaurant Juno, is slated to open later this year. The all-day eatery will encompass 11,000 square feet, with room for up to 252 diners, serving food described as “traditional flavours with a fresh, modern flair”.
These concepts will join Pillar Hall, led by Des Gunewardena’s D3 Collective. Pillar Hall houses three distinct concepts, two of which opened last month: the all-day modern British restaurant Idalia and the speakeasy-style bar Pepperbird. Upstairs at Pillar Hall, the 500+ capacity live music and events venue, will open this autumn.
