Discussions underway: Adnams has secured an extension of its borrowing facilities with Barclays

Adnams has secured an extension of its borrowing facilities with Barclays through to June 2027.

Combined with balance sheet repair, it means the Suffolk-based business can secure a longer-term facility from lenders.

The hospitality, beer and spirits group, known for its flagship Ghost Ship brew, confirmed that banking discussions have already started in this regard.

It follows a difficult period of trading for the company in 2025, after a series of loss-making years and asset disposals, Adnam’s AGM was told.
