Does the pub sector have reason to be cheerful? The Lock In takes a look (Ed Bedington)

The Lock In podcast is back and now in colour! (and video)

Yes, the podcast no-one has been waiting for is back for an unprecedented 7th season and this time you can watch as well as listen.

For fans, all three of you, this series will see the podcast both filmed and recorded, giving you the choice of suffering in two entirely different ways!

This episode of the podcast is focusing on new beginnings and hopefully the new options that are opening up for the pub trade under a new leadership in Government.

MA editor Ed Bedington, and his intrepid co-hosts, Nikkie Thatcher and the angry Australian Heath Ball, spoke to the BII’s Steve Alton and UKH’s David Sheen to get their take on what the new Prime Minister means for the pub sector.

And we caught up with two operators who are not letting uncertainty and challenge hold them back. Anthony Pender, founder of Hoste, has opened a fourth site, with a fifth in the works, meanwhile, Jonny Bramwell, director with Symposium Pubs, has opened his first, with a second on the way.

They discuss the positives, and why they see opportunity in a sector where others are struggling.

So tune in, or watch, now!
