The Exmouth Arms has been transformed by the caring attention of the PubLove group and general manager Phoebe McCluskey.

Turnover has tripled at the site since a transformation of the interior, which has seen a dingy boozer with colossal dilapidations renovated and opened out, in part by exposing huge windows to reveal the bustling city.

Business at the Exmouth is boosted by a cosy PubLove hostel above, which hosts 100 nationalities a year. The pub is designed to pay tribute to their travelling clientele.

Burgers

The kitchen has been moved forwards to the front of house to create a stage for the creative, unique pop-up Burger Craft concept, including fish and chips or Messy Mac ‘N Cheese-style burgers.

Craft beer is a passion of the site, but staff only claim to be enthusiasts rather than experts to preserve an unpretentious, welcoming vibe, while all styles of beer are matched to a burger.

Six cask, two cider, four guest ale and seven keg taps complement an ever-rotating extensive range of bottles displayed on a stylish wall behind the bar.

The pub has excellent reviews on travel and review websites, and hosts beer and food festivals and community events.
