Orchid Group, the managed operator owned by GI Partners, is stepping up its plans to open new carveries after "phenomenal success".
Orchid has opened 27 new carveries in 12 months and a further 10 sites are planned to open before Christmas.
The roll out continues into the New Year with at least 10 sites already at planning stage.
With this increase in the size of the estate comes the opportunity for increased supplier liaison and selection.
Orchid has seized this opportunity to further develop its British Offer to include British meats, British wines, British water and British desserts. All carvery meat (with the exception of gammon) are British-farmed and Farm Assured.
Orchid is working closely with Brakes to continually progress their meat offer and are particularly proud to have developed its own brand of beef - "Border Beef".
All beef comes from farms on the Welsh / English border - hence the name. It is hoped that the Gammon will also be Farm Assured as of the New Year. Ready for Christmas, all Carveries will stock Belu as the only bottled water.
British innovation, all profits from sales go to clean water projects meaning that every bottle purchased provides clean water for one month to those in need.
Bottles are made from 100% compostable corn making it the first bottled water that doesn't contribute to climate change.
British desserts (with the exception of the cheesecake) are all British produced and offer traditional favourites such as bread and butter pudding, Bakewell pudding and rhubarb crumble.
"We have been thrilled with our customers' response to our carveries," said Sharon Hammond, concept development manager for Orchid. "Clearly, our offer of quality, British produce, beautiful environment and friendly service has met with approval across our customer base.
"Our challenge in 2008 is to progress the offer further and find new opportunities whilst continuing to delight our customers."
