Ei Publican Partnerships (EiPP) has moved its EiLive trade shows from spring to autumn to offer licensees support ahead of the crucial trading periods of Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas.

Announcing the next three dates for the shows, Ei said events that had already taken place in 2018 had “attracted record attendances”, despite the challenging weather conditions that hit the UK with the arrival of the Beast from the East.

The next three shows will take place at locations chosen to maximise accessibility for existing and prospective publicans to attend. Suppliers and members of the EiPP team will be on hand to answer questions, offer business advice and exclusive deals.

The full timetable for EiLive2019 is:

  • 8 October 2019 – Doncaster Racecourse
  • 15 October 2019 – London Olympia
  • 17 October 2019 – Ashton Gate, Bristol

Nick Light, managing director at EiPP, said: “We’re constantly striving to find new ways in which we can support and develop publicans across our estate. A big part of this involves scrutinising every aspect of what we do and, as such, we have taken the decision to move the date of EiLive so publicans can capitalise on deals and ideas ahead of the busy Christmas period.

Face time

“The shows give us valuable face-to-face time with publicans across our estate, so we can share industry leading insights, deals and ideas, from suppliers and industry experts. Each year EiLive builds momentum and we’re confident EiLive2019 will follow suit.”

EiPP is the leased and tenanted division of pub company Ei Group, which has the largest pub estate in the UK with around 4,600 properties. The company’s pubs are mainly leased and tenanted sites.

Earlier this year, the group launched its ‘Beerista’ coffee offer to help licensees take on coffee shops, as well as a new pizza offer, called Barrel Top, to support licensees in their efforts to tap into this market.
