Soft drinks brand Britvic is launching Pink Raspberry Tonic to its on-trade line-up this month to complement its Elderflower variant, which was released in spring 2021.

The exclusive launch to the licensed channel sees the new raspberry flavour offering “crisp tones and fresh citrus cues” that will “continue to help operators elevate experiences for consumers when it comes to selecting their mixers out of home”.

Britvic director of foodservice and licensed Adam Russell said: “Flavoured mixers represent a significant opportunity to encourage consumers to trade up, especially considering that they make up 11% of mixers total share.”

Exceptional growth

Russell continued: “Over the past year, flavoured tonics have experienced exceptional growth, as consumers who buy flavoured tonics spend more than those who opt for non-flavoured. With gin and flavoured tonics being the number one spirit and mixer for consumers, Pink Raspberry Tonic is a perfect addition for outlets to add to their mixers range.

“Offering more choice for those who want to get creative with their mixers, as either part of a drink or on its own, is an essential part of creating memorable experiences in the licensed sector. Pubs and bars have the opportunity to stand out from the crowd by offering a new flavoured variant from a trusted brand, at a time when more people are on the lookout for premium mixing options.”

The 200ml bottles will be sold in packs of 24. Britvic Pink Raspberry Tonic will be supported with visual activation and will be included in seasonal serves, and the Mixology toolkit on Britvic’s Sensational Drinks website.
