The Morning Advertiser can now announce the MA Leaders Club event in September will be taking place in Brighton.

The inclusive and free-thinking city where the conference and study tour will be happening is in the heart of Sussex, combining modern culture and exotic architecture with sea and countryside.

There is art, live music and entertainment on tap alongside a growing number of independent hotels, shops and award-winning restaurants within an hour and a half of London.

Brighton was granted city status in 2000 and now has a population about a quarter of a million.

The MA Leaders Club is open to multi-site pub operators and meets three times a year around the country for a day of business-focused presentations from top experts and owner/operators. The day is followed by an evening study tour of new and exciting venues.

The city hosts a plethora of hidden gems from the Lanes, the centre, the pier and many more.

Its biggest purpose-built venue the Brighton Centre has featured a myriad of global artists, bringing in visitors from across the country and globe to the city.

This is alongside the Brighton Dome, which since its conversion to a performance venue in 1867, has had hundreds of internally renowned artists perform there.

When it comes to the demographic in the area, it is home to a huge number of students, giving it a wide demographic and talent pool for staff.

Brighton is rumoured to be known as the unofficial LGBTQ+ capital of the UK with history dating back to at least the 19th​ century and hosts the largest Pride festival in the country, making it the most popular in terms of visiting numbers.

Furthermore, the area’s Brighton & Hove football team also brings in vast numbers of visitors to home games, enhancing the city’s demographic further.
