Launching Monday 20 March on the brands trade website, the Spring into Summer campaign will give 500 randomly selected licensed independent customers the chance to claim back a share of £50,000 worth of soft drinks.
Winners can claim back £100 in cash following presentation of a valid wholesale invoice or receipt purchasing CCEP’s range of soft drinks via a promotional web page on trade My.CCEP.com.
Trading is challenging
Launching the initiative, CCEP said it “appreciates” for some of its smaller independent customers “trading is challenging” and, ahead of the “crucial” Easter and summer periods, the company wanted to “offer some additional support.”
Coca-Cola also sponsored the Great British Pub Awards (GBPA) Community Hero Award last year, which saw the £10,000 prize donated by the winner, the Lion at Treorchy in South Wales, to the local community
Additionally, the brand came out on top in the Drinks List 2023, with a 110.1% change in volume sales per hectolitres (HL) from 431,747 to 907,271 HL, and hike in value from £275.1 to £585.1 (112.6%) compared to the previous list.
CCEP away from home sales director Karen Yates-Hills adds: “It's tough out there at the moment, certainly for this part of the market.
“We are constantly trying to look at different ways to try and support operators as much as possible.
“This new campaign will hopefully help people in this space. it recognises that things are tough out there, but it also recognises we're going into a nice season for [pubs].”
Entry for the promotion ends on Friday 31 March and winners will be contacted the week commencing Monday 3 April.
Applicants need to be registered on My.CCEP.com to be able to enter the free prize draw.
