Greene King Pub Partners unveils Night of Excellence winners
The awards were held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire last night (Tuesday 23 April).
More than 140 licensees from across the nation who work with Greene King Pub Partners attended the ceremony alongside many others from the sector including trade bodies, business leaders and more.
The awards themselves included a variety of categories such as Community Pub of the Year to Pub Team of the Year and an overall Pub of the Year award.
Judging process
Finalists had been through a strict judging process including mystery visits before being crowned winners with more than 250 pubs and licensees entering this year’s awards before being whittled down to a shortlist.
The Cott Inn, Dartington in Devon was named Pub of the Year as well as taking the title of Pub Garden of the Year.
Meanwhile, licensees of the Greyhound in Ixworth, Suffolk Colin and Susan Pearce were awarded the Lifetime Achievement accolade, recognising more than four decades at the pub.
The Outstanding Contribution award was presented to franchisee Miranda Richardson, who operators the Squirrels in Dunston, Northampton.

Barons Pub Co founder Clive Price won Multiple Operators of the Year for the third consecutive year.
Sustainable Pub of the Year was a new addition for 2024 and was presented to licensee of the Queen’s Head in Pinner, Greater London Sean White, with the pub also winning Pub Team of the Year.

- The Queen Inn, Winchester, Hampshire – Beer Pub of the Year
- The Victoria, Thurston, Suffolk – Franchise Pub of the Year
