18 pubs retain Michelin stars but no new additions

High accolade: the Michelin awards span across the UK and Ireland

A number of pubs have retained their prestigious accolades following The Michelin Guide Ceremony Great Britain & Ireland 2025.

The event took place on Monday 10 February at Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum in Glasgow.

At the ceremony, restaurant Moor Hall in Aughton, Lancashire was awarded three Michelin stars alongside three new two-stars and 22 awarded one star.

While no new pubs were awarded a star, many kept the accolade including a number of sites on the Estrella Damm Top 50 Gastropubs list.

The pubs with Michelin stars are:

The Angel at Hetton, Skipton, North Yorkshire

The Coach, Marlow, Buckinghamshire

The Cross, Kenilworth, Warwickshire

The Royal Oak, Whatcote, Warwickshire

Sportsman, Seasalter, Kent

White Swan at Fence, Fence, Lancashire

Elsewhere, the first solo project of Nick Beardshaw, who established his reputation working with Tom Kerridge, was awarded one star for Starling - his simple neighbourhood operation in Esher, Surrey.

Furthermore, the ceremony also revealed new 36 Bib Gourmands - an accolade that have been rewarded for their quality cooking at a reasonable price.

The Peacock Inn, Chelsworth in Suffolk was awarded a Bib Gourmand this year as was the Horse & Groom, Bourton-on-the-Hill in Gloucestershire and the Hero in Maida Vale, London.
