The franchise pub concepts are set to be rolled out in Scotland under the umbrella of Belhaven Pub Partners, adding to the current estate of 70 sites.
It is expected the first franchise pub in Scotland will open by April with plans for more across the country taking place this year.
A franchisee can take over a franchise pub from £3,000 ingoing cost with earnings based on a percentage of food and drink sales.
Site specifics
All new Belhaven Pub Partners franchise pubs will receive six-figure investments. The sites will also feature Sky Sports and TNT Sports alongside a budget to provide entertainment to guests.
Hive Pubs was Greene King’s first franchise concept, which was introduced in 2021. Its first site was the Maldon Grey in Sudbury, Suffolk, which opened following a £200,000 investment,
Moreover, Nest, its second was launched in February 2024 with its first site - the Palmer Tavern in Reading, Berkshire, opening in March after a £360,000 investment.
The franchise division currently has more than 60 pubs.
Pipeline of pub openings
