The Rose & Crown in Thorney, Lincolnshire shut in July 2021 before being bought by Sly Estates in 2022.
The company has announced L&J Hospitality will be the new tenants of the village pub.
Brother and sister James and Lauren Trevor have both been raised in the sector and currently operate the Six Bells at Witham on the Hill, Lincolnshire.
Respected history
On behalf of his mother and himself, Michael Sly of Sly Estates thanked the village for its patience.
He said: “Sly Estates [is] pleased to announce L&J Hospitality will be the new tenants of the Rose & Crown Thorney.
“James Trevor and his sister Lauren currently operate the success Six Bells at Witham on the Hill.
“Their family have a long and respected history in hospitality...”
Long and dedicated project
Sly said: “This has been a long and dedicated project to acquire and refurbish the building with Peggs Construction as main contractor, RTK Architects and Loci Interiors among many others who have been involved.
“Special thanks to Everard Cole, which acted for us to source such as experienced operator for the site.
“We hope the village and wider community can now enjoy the use of this wonderful building and continue its long tradition as part of our community.”
The newly refurbished venue, which had been closed for almost three years, is now home to eight en-suite letting rooms, dining room, bars and private function room. It is set to reopen shortly.
