Lucky Voice for Business sees revenue rise
Business history: Lucky Voice was founded in 2005 (Lucky Voice)

Social entertainment brand Lucky Voice’s B2B arm has seen monthly like-for-like revenue increase by almost a third over the past 12 months.

Furthermore, the business reported enquiries have risen by more than half (52%) over the same period.

While the group is primarily known for its chain of cocktail bars, which offer private room karaoke, Lucky Voice for Business provides software for operators to introduce private karaoke booths to their own venues.

Operator partners include Tenpin, Bunny Jacksons, Firmdale Hotels and Big Fang Collective as well as the Prince of Peckham and Queen of the South.

Revenue generator

New signings include Big Penny Social in London, which is introducing three karaoke booths to its venue from next month (May).

According to Lucky Voice, over the Easter bank holiday weekend, almost 20,000 songs were sung using the software and the number of karaoke pods using it has consistently grown over the past year by 27% and 66% over the past five years.

Managing director Charlie Elek took over the reins of the company in 2017.

On the latest figures, he said: “Karaoke for Business is more than just software - it’s a reliable revenue generator.

“Operators love it because guests stay longer, spend more and come back for more.”

Business impact

He added: “We’ve seen some of our longest-standing partners expand with us and the results speak volumes.”

Elek recently featured on the latest episode of The Morning Advertiser’s Lock In podcast, discussing the benefits of offering karaoke.

In December 2023, he told The Morning Advertiser about the company’s expansion plans.

Currently, it has venues in London, Brighton and Dubai.
