Stonegate takes over Frontier Pubs

Stonegate has bought the remaining stake in Frontier Pubs, its joint venture with Pioneer Hospitality.

Chaired by Dame Karen Jones, the joint venture was set up in 2016 with Enterprise Inns (EI Group), which was later acquired by Stonegate in 2019. Frontier Pubs and now operates 15 sites across London, offering craft beer and sport entertainment as well as its Roman-style pizza offer Flatboys Pizza.

Strong growth

The 15 pubs will now operate as part of Stonegate’s Pub Partners leased & tenanted division. In total, Stonegate operates more than c.4,000 sites in the UK across various brands.

In its most recent accounts, Frontier Pubs reported revenue of £11.6m for the year to 29 September 2024.

This represented an increase of 31% from £8.8m the previous year.

Outstanding pubs

Profit before tax for the period to September 2024 amounted to £353k.
