The award-winning bar group has unveiled the first illustrations of its new venue, BOX Piccadilly, as it prepares to welcome customers next month.
It marks the group’s debut in the South of England, expanding its footprint beyond the Midlands, North and Scotland, where it operates 19 sites.
Backed by a £4m investment, BOX Piccadilly, located on the capital’s Shaftsbury Avenue, has been described as a sports bar where guests can “watch, play and party”, all under one roof.
Spread across three floors, the 7200ft venue, which will be the biggest in Arc’s portfolio once it is open, has capacity for 550 guests with seating for 250.
The venue claims to have the highest number of screens showing sport in the West End, with live coverage of all popular sporting events on offer.
Range of sports
In addition, as the official sports bar partner of the NFL in the UK, BOX Piccadilly will also show American Football games alongside domestic and European football, including UEFA Champions League, La Liga and Gaelic football.
Global sports such as Formula 1, boxing fights and rugby fixtures will also be shown, starting with Autumn Internationals 2025.
Beyond sports, customers can enjoy a range of competitive socialising games on the mezzanine level, including Electric Darts and Shuffleboard.
Throughout the week, there will also be live music on offer across the ground and basement floors. The basement level will act as home to the private SUPERBOX karaoke rooms.
BOX’s signature Bandeoke - where guests are given the chance to come on stage and perform with a live band – will take place every Thursday night.
The venue will also boast a food menu including customisable smash burgers, Neapolitan pizza and kebab options while the drinks menu will provide a wide range of classic and innovative cocktails, as well as modern draught, craft beer and non-alcoholic options.
Huge moment
Arc Inspirations co-founder and CEO Martin Wolstencroft said: “This is a huge moment for Arc Inspirations and the BOX brand.
“We’re really pleased to now be able to reveal the first images and offer a glimpse into what can be expected.
“BOX Piccadilly is more than just a place to watch sport - it’s a fully immersive experience. Whether people visit to watch, party or simply soak up the atmosphere, we’ve created a space that delivers an unforgettable time.
“We’ve been working on this offering for a long time now and we are ready to bring BOX to London. We now can’t wait to open the doors.”
BOX Piccadilly joins the six other BOX locations in Leeds City Centre, Birmingham, Headingley, Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester. Arc’s portfolio also includes the Manahatta and Banyan brands.
Outside of London, Arc Inspirations said it was continuing to invest in city centres.
