Celebrities including Marvin Humes, Lisa Snowdon, Jodie Kidd and Jason Fox joined the party for a VIP launch on Thursday 30 October with the official opening to the public taking place on Friday 7 November.
‘The Dial – Home of Meantime’ as it has been labelled is a new three-floor destination for craft beer, cocktails, food, live music, sport and skyline views, right on the Greenwich Peninsula, just steps from The O2 and North Greenwich Underground Station.

It also has a microbrewery on-site that is set to start producing beer for the venue in November with the first serve expected in early December.
Humes, who was a member of boyband JLS and presents TV shows now, jumped on the decks to perform a high-energy DJ set said: “As someone who was born and raised in Greenwich, it’s amazing to see something as exciting as the Dial opening right here on the Peninsula.
Great energy
“I’m thrilled to have played a set at the launch and to be part of bringing such great energy to my hometown.”
The Dial, which was created by KG Hospitality – which also operates two Amazing Grace sites – has partnered with Meantime Brewing Company to bring the site to life.

It houses the brewhouse, a restaurant, sports bar, live music venue, expansive outdoor terrace, with seating for around 240 guests and a panoramic rooftop 360° bar with spectacular views of London’s skyline.
Guests can expect Meantime classics alongside brand-new experimental brews and limited-edition creations crafted onsite.
The venue is ideally situated to take advantage of passing footfall for guests at the giant O2 arena.
On-site-produced beers by December
Its food includes shareable dishes like Chicken Schnitzel Sandos and St Louis Pork Ribs while on the terrace, lunch trucks will serve street food-inspired dishes during the day and weekends, plus cocktails will be a focus behind the bar too.
Meantime, which is owned by Asahi UK, told The Morning Advertiser: “Brewing will commence on-site in November, with the first on-site-produced beers due to be on sale in the first week of December.”

Meantime Brewing Company was founded in Greenwich in 1999 and the Dial launched its new Dial Lager 3.4% ABV draught and bottled beer at the event. Other beers on draught include new Midnight Nitro Stout 4.1% ABV and favourites Yakima Red Ale 4.5% ABV and Anytime IPA 4.7% ABV.
KG Hospitality was founded in 2020 by Ricardo Guimarães and Vineet Kalra. Kalra said: “The Dial – Home of Meantime is all about community, location and creating a space where people can eat, drink, watch sport, dance and just enjoy life. Partnering with Meantime made it feel like the perfect match.”
Asahi UK managing director Tim Clay added: “To be brewing Meantime beers in such an iconic location is testament to the brand’s future and our confidence in the hospitality industry.”
