The confirmation comes after Whitbread has completed a consultation on its hotel-led restructuring plan.

Table Table, Cookhouse + Pub and other brands will close after service on 3 September, followed by Brewers Fayre on 7 September and Beefeater on 10 September.
The group said it had now decided to proceed with proposals announced in April to exit all remaining branded restaurants and replace them with integrated food and drink operations inside Premier Inn hotels.
Whitbread said the move would support the addition of 3,600 hotel extension rooms in locations where it sees strong accommodation demand.
A Whitbread spokesperson said: “Following consultation, we have now taken the decision to proceed with this proposal.
“We will continue to offer a great breakfast and dinner at all hotels, replacing branded restaurants with a restaurant inside the hotel.”
Earlier this year, Mitchells & Butlers agreed to acquire a package of seven Whitbread sites, including former Beefeater and Brewers Fayre restaurants, which it plans to convert into Miller & Carter and Toby Carvery venues.
Hotel focus
The closures form part of Whitbread’s strategy to become a more focused hotel business and simplify its F&B model.
The company said the integrated format was already operating at more than half of Premier Inn hotels and had proved popular with guests.
In April, Whitbread announced that the changes would affect around 3,800 roles across its UK and Ireland workforce, although it would seek to redeploy as many employees as possible.
The spokesperson added: “We recognise the impact of this proposal on colleagues and, as a business that recruits around 15,000 people every year, we are aiming to redeploy as many of those impacted colleagues as possible.”
The wider five-year plan includes converting restaurant space into additional hotel rooms, reducing net capital investment by more than £1bn and recycling around £1.5bn through property disposals.
Rewards closing
Beefeater Reward Club will close on 31 August.
Customers must earn points or enter receipt details by 24 August, convert their points into vouchers and use them by 31 August.
Any remaining points will expire at 7am on 1 September and unused vouchers will no longer be accepted.
Whitbread first began selling and converting branded restaurant sites under its Accelerating Growth Plan in 2024 before extending the programme to the remainder of the estate in April this year.
