The promotion is available on today (5 November) at five London venues, including the Ring, the Kings Arms, Molly Mc’s - which won Best New Site at the 2026 Publican Awards - and the two Mc & Sons pubs in Borough and Vauxhall. Customers must register in advance to receive a redemption code.
In Greater Manchester, JW Lees is promoting its Manchester Stout, with the Crown & Shuttle in Firgrove inviting customers to sample the beer as part of its International Stout Day celebrations.
The brewer has also been highlighting the occasion across social media, promoting its stout brewed with chocolate malt, malted oats and roasted barley.
Meanwhile, Leigh on Sea Brewery in Essex is extending celebrations across four days, hosting a dark beer festival from 5 to 8 November at its Progress Road brewery.
In London, the Shirker’s Rest in New Cross is combining the occasion with a Three Acre Brewery tap takeover.
The pub is pouring Three Acre’s 12-month-aged Bonfire Beer, which it said had proved a hit last year, while also using the day for the worldwide premiere of Oat Loaf, an oat milk stout brewed last month by Marta and Ben in collaboration with Three Acre Brewery.
Kent-based bar operator Fuggles is hosting a four-day showcase of Copenhagen brewery Warpigs at its Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells sites from 5 to 8 November.
The event will feature a selection of beers including a 4.5% coffee nitro stout and a 10.5% imperial stout brewed with maple, blueberries and vanilla, alongside special food offerings.
New stout launches
The celebrations follow several new stout launches from UK brewers.
Scottish brewer Tennent’s has returned to its brewing roots with the launch of Tennent’s Stout (4% ABV), expanding its UK on-trade portfolio in response to growing demand for darker beers.

The launch marks a return to a category historically central to the brand, with Tennent’s first brewing stout at Glasgow’s Wellpark Brewery in 1740. The new beer features notes of chocolate, liquorice, treacle and coffee, with a smooth, creamy finish.
Timothy Taylor’s has introduced a new 4.2% cask stout, initially available at Taylor’s on the Green in Keighley and the Woolly Sheep Inn in Skipton, ahead of a wider rollout across its pub estate and the UK on-trade.

The new beer combines roasted malts with coffee and chocolate flavours and is available exclusively in cask.
Badger Brewery has also expanded its Outland range with DarkSpire, a 5% coconut and cocoa stout, while New Bristol Brewery has launched a 6% Ferrero Rocher-inspired stout in collaboration with Attic as the first release in its Six Stouts of Christmas series.
Bristol-based family-run craft brewer Wiper and True has introduced Black Forest Shake, a 5.6% cherry stout.
Meanwhile, St Austell Brewery is using International Stout Day to encourage publicans to expand their dark beer offerings, highlighting its 4.5% Mena Dhu Cornish stout alongside Murphy’s Irish Stout and Camden Stout through its wholesale operation.
