Following the success of the inaugural SmartDispense Energy Well Spent Summit earlier this year, the SmartDispense Energy Well Spent Debate Series will be launched on Tuesday 18 October 2022.
This series of 20-minute-long panel discussions is the next phase of commitment from the brand to encourage conversation, collaboration and knowledge sharing on the topics impacting hospitality.
Three episodes
They will also look at ways to minimising carbon use and saving money.
The first three episodes in the series will focus on:
• How can back-of-house changes positively impact your energy usage? (18 October)
• How to save money and meet increased consumer demand to be more sustainable? (1 November)
• How to prepare for new EPC legislation? (15 November)
Each episode will focus on a variety of changes that can be made to business operations, offering practical advice from both industry experts and operators recognised for their leadership in sustainable practices.
Big names on board
The panels include Peach Pubs, which was voted Most Sustainable Pub Company (Publican Awards 2022), The Camelot and Duke of Cambridge (The Culpeper Family Hospitality Group) both finalists in the Best Sustainable Pub category (Great British Pub Awards 2022), the Lamb and Revolution Bars, which featured in the recent SmartDispense Green Pub Guide. The series also features experts from the British Beer & Pub Association, Zero Carbon Forum, Blue+Yellow and Future Net Zero.
Head of SmartDispense and technical services at Heineken UK Richard Stephens said: “The Energy Well Spent Summit really brought home just how important these conversations are. We know that we don’t yet have all the answers but, by enabling collaboration, we hope to bring the industry closer together and share valuable information that can genuinely save operators time, money and energy.”
The episodes will go live on the dates above with all available to watch as a video or podcast. Click here to see the debates or visit https://smartdispense.heineken.co.uk/events/debates/
