North Brewing to open Manchester taproom
North Taproom: Circle Square will not only offer a varied drinks range, it will also serve an Asian street food menu from its long-time food partner Little Bao Boy.
As with its previous sites, North promises a warm and welcoming space for all and will have 24 draught lines – 16 keg lines and two cask – showcasing the business’s core range plus limited-edition specials and guest beers, which are served alongside wines, cocktails, ciders, spirits and no and low alcohol options.
The site in Circle Square, Noble Way, is a modern glass building hosting 100 high and low seats inside with standing space for 40 more and an outside seating area with heaters for cold nights.
Collaboration beer for opening
The bar is the focal point of the taproom and there are two double fridges packed with beers to go.
Tables are offered on a walk-in only basis – no bookings necessary.
To celebrate the opening of the taproom North have collaborated with local favourites Track brewing an IPA that will be on the opening tap line-up.

Original brewery sold
Last month, North Brewing sold its original brewery to West Yorkshire business Tartarus Beers. North began operations at the Taverner’s Walk location in 2015 but has since moved all beer production to Springwell, its central Leeds base.
North Brewing opened its first site outside Leeds at the end of November with the launch of North Taproom: Snow Hill in Birmingham with Little Bao Boy also serving a slice of Asian life on the food side.
The business is no stranger to success having wrapped up the Best Brewing Pub Company in April this year at The Publican Awards.
