Stonegate Pub Partners has unveiled a new platform for licensees that offers ideas and advice on how to increase sales, cut operating costs and a run a successful business.

The ‘Pub Hub’ has a number of new features and gives operators access to a suite of marketing content alongside promotional supplier activity in a bid to help maximise sales during key events as well as training programmes for licensees and their teams.

Stonegate Group said the platform was the latest is a series of improvements it has made to enhance its publican support.

Pub Partner at the Woodman in Ruislip, west London Steve Banks said lauded the support from the pub company.

Customer experience

He said: “I feel there is a real mutual understanding and appreciation of the business. Outstanding customer service is paramount to the success of our pubs, I’ve always made sure my team takes advantage of the training opportunities Stonegate offers, particularly the cellar management course, which gives clear understanding of how to look after the beer we sell.

“This is key to ensure our customers experience the best we can offer.

“The Pub Hub platform is another way we are supported to help develop our business and improve our performance. Pub Hub is informative and straight forward.”

Stonegate Pub Partners managing director Nick Andrews outlined how the new platform will help its licensees.

Company vision

He added: “Our investment in Pub Partners and the launch of ‘Pub Hub’ reflects our vision of being the partner of choice and supporting publicans to run excellent pubs that serve their communities.”

Earlier this month (Wednesday 1 February), it was reported Stonegate Group was looking to sell about 1,000 of its pubs to pay down some of its £2.6bn debt pile.

Furthermore, in November last year, the business revealed Simon Longbottom would be stepping down as chief executive officer and replaced by BrewDog’s David McDowall.
