It’s almost time to find out which pub companies are leading The MA Top 100 Pubcos 2025 list.

The Morning Advertiser is returning with its popular report on the top pub companies when it comes to size within the UK – and it’s completely free to read – and is yours to access at any time.

The finishing touches are being made to the report but you can expect to have access to it on the week commencing Monday 22 September.

And it’s not just the list – you can see last year’s inaugural feature by clicking here and inputting a few details – there’s plenty more to read.

New concepts

In this year’s feature we have a section that looks at the managed hospitality market that demonstrates how the pubs sector has enjoyed a steady growth and showed resilience during several months despite economic headwinds, as written by The MA deputy editor Nikkie Thatcher.

There is also information on innovation in the category with a number of pub groups launching new concepts.

In another section, there is some great statistical information compiled by associate features editor Gary Lloyd and William Reed senior digital marketing executive Tom Easton. These are the results of an exclusive survey by The Morning Advertiser in which we have asked licensees and pubco chiefs about how trade has been for them recently and the concerns they have going forward – with some interesting findings.

Meanwhile, trade expert Phil Dixon takes a look at the changes made in managed models by the ‘Big six’ pubcos – Stonegate, Greene King, Marston’s, Punch Pubs, Admiral Taverns and Star Pubs.

Absolutely free

The Morning Advertiser has produced two other reports this year, which can be accessed by clicking on the links here. The Beer Report 2025 was unveiled in late July and, if you haven’t seen it, you’re definitely missing out.

This annual report, which is absolutely free to access, is split into sections that will give you essential knowledge to help your pub profit when it comes to world, premium and core lagers, cask ales, stout, craft beers and low & no alcohol offerings.

Check out The Beer Report 2025 by clicking here – once again it is absolutely free to access.

Also available – with completely free access – is The Pub Employment Report, which was launched earlier this year.

Just fill in a few details and access will be yours to this report that looks at the well-publicised issues surrounding the staffing, training, recruitment and retention of employees at pubs and bars across the UK.
