NEOS acquired the Revolution, Revolución de Cuba and Founders & Co brands at the start of the year after The Revel Collective went into administration.
Formed in 2024, NEOS Hospitality operates 40 venues with its core brands being Bonnie Rogues, Barbara’s Bier Haus and Circuit. It announced last week it was eyeing the rebranding of six sites with a Bonnie Rogues in Bristol opening its doors in June after renovation from previously being a Revolution bar.
Really good fit
The latest transformation forms part of NEOS’s wider strategy to identify opportunities within its acquired estate and reposition selected venues into its core brands where there is a strong long-term fit with the market and location.
Barbara’s Bier Haus is NEOS’s alpine-themed party bar concept, combining immersive entertainment, high-energy service and interactive elements.
NEOS Hospitality CEO Russell Quelch said: “Leeds is a fantastic nightlife market and a city where we see a really good fit for Barbara’s Bier Haus.
“As we continue integrating our enlarged estate, we’re assessing each location carefully and looking at where our core brands can deliver the strongest long-term opportunity. Barbara’s has continued to perform strongly across the estate, and we’re excited to bring the concept to Leeds later this year.”
Southampton opening
The Leeds announcement comes as Barbara’s Bier Haus prepares to open its sixth UK venue in Southampton this month, on 21 August.
The group is also set to reopen a Revolución de Cuba site as a Bonnie Rogues in Birmingham next month after a £1m investment.
NEOS said it is continuing to roll out its core concepts across the UK, with further repositioning and opening announcements expected before the end of the year.
The group added it remains focused on investing in its enlarged estate and developing experience-led concepts that respond to changing consumer demand across key UK nightlife locations.
