Five Guys said the listing reflected its focus on British produce, with its UK restaurants using locally sourced British potatoes for hand cut fries and locally reared British beef for its patties. A small amount of Irish farmed beef is held in reserve for some stores.

British farming

Hawkstone, founded by Jeremy Clarkson in 2021, said the listing reflected shared support for British agriculture, with its cider made using British apples.

To mark the launch, Hawkstone worked with Kaleb Cooper, known for Clarkson’s Farm, at Five Guys’ Cheltenham restaurant.

Cooper, Hawkstone Cider’s head of apples, said: “I’m not one for leaving the farm. In fact, I hate being out of my comfort zone. But when I found out Five Guys are committed to using British produce, I reckon it was worth the trip.

“The red and white uniform is a bit bright for my liking, and they tried to tell me there are 250,000 ways to order a burger, which frankly makes my head hurt. But you can’t argue with the results. An epic bacon cheeseburger, a mountain of fries and my cider. It’s basically a farmer’s dream, even if I did have to leave the tractor at home.”

Hospitality listings

The Five Guys listing follows a series of recent hospitality partnerships for Hawkstone.

Earlier this month, Marston’s launched a Hawkstone IPA and beef pie across 498 pubs in England, Scotland and Wales.

The dish combines British diced beef and pulled beef cheek, slow cooked in gravy made with Hawkstone IPA, seasonal vegetables and Barber’s Cheddar.

Hawkstone has also partnered with Butcombe Group to produce Hops & Glory Real English Pale Ale, a limited edition 4.2% ABV cask beer for Cask Ale Week 2026.

The beer, brewed with 100% British ingredients, will be available to the on trade from September, with £10 from every cask sold donated to the Licensed Trade Charity and mental health charity Shout.

Hawkstone Cider and Hawkstone Premium Lager are available now in Five Guys restaurants.
