Web deal will help you promote your Proud of Pubs events

The Publican​ has linked up with national events website inapub​ to ensure customers across the country are aware of what's going on during Proud of Pubs Week.

This gives pubs the chance to list events for free on the site. Inapub also makes your information available on additional sites and can update your Facebook site and Twitter feeds.

An Inapub iphone app is currently being developed and this will also help promote your business when it launches in the coming weeks.

Here's our step-by-step guide to getting your details listed.

To add your pub to the Inapub site:​

1. Register at www.inapub.co.uk/venues/add.aspx​

2. Add your pub details - don't forget to upload a photo and make use of detailing all your facilities

3. Tick the 'Proud of Pubs Week' box.

Existing users​: Log in or find your pub using www.inapub.co.uk/venues/search.aspx​

1. On the pub detail page, click "edit" under facilities

2. Tick the 'Proud of Pubs Week' box.

How to add "Proud of Pubs Week" events to Inapub.​

Step 1

Go to www.inapub.co.uk/events/add/choose.aspx​

Step 2

To add an individual event for free choose 'Add a one-off Event'

If you'd like the event to appear on your pubs online blackboard choose 'Your Pubs Community'

Step 3

Add the event details - be sure to add "POPW" to the event title this will ensure that the event gets picked up in any search for a proud of Pubs event. To increase the opportunity to find your event(s) add the type-tag "POPW" along with the detail of your event such as Quiz, Film Quiz, Free, all separated by a comma. You can also include an optional event image (photo, flyer in gif or jpg).

Step 4

Add the email addresses of anyone you'd like to personally invite, like the local paper - don't forget your local MP!

Step 5

Review and click the "Add event" button.

All events added will then show up in the search an event option, and if you have subscribed it will show up on your blackboard.
